Nuris Vasquez-Meek
Co-Founder & CEO
A Journey of Service and Empowerment
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Nuris brings a heart for service and a deep understanding of what it means to navigate challenges with resilience and grace. With a degree in business and over a decade of experience in sales, Nuris has always been driven by a passion for helping people achieve their goals—whether that was helping families find their dream homes as a top-performing real estate agent, or supporting at-risk teens as a crisis consultant.
Since starting her real estate career in 2018 with RE/MAX Valley & Town, Nuris has consistently ranked among the top 5% of agents and earned the prestigious NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence Award every year from 2018 through 2024. She is a licensed real estate professional in New Jersey (License #1755369). But beyond the accolades, what truly drives Nuris is the relationships she builds and the lives she touches. She's fluent in Spanish and proudly serves both English and Spanish-speaking communities across northern New Jersey.
Why AssisMonter:
Through her work, Nuris witnessed firsthand how many people—especially elderly clients, those recovering from injuries, and individuals with mobility challenges—struggled with daily tasks that most of us take for granted. She saw how a simple trip to the grocery store or getting to a medical appointment could become overwhelming barriers to independence. These experiences planted a seed: What if there was a way to make reliable, compassionate assistance accessible to everyone who needs it?
But Nuris's deepest understanding of what it means to care for others came from a profoundly personal place. She lovingly cared for her elderly mother, who lived past 90 years old, until her passing. Through this journey, Nuris experienced firsthand the daily challenges, the emotional weight, and the beautiful moments that come with caring for an aging loved one. She learned that assistance isn't just about completing tasks—it's about preserving dignity, offering companionship, and creating meaningful connections during life's most vulnerable moments.
Working as a volunteer with the IRS Tax Assistance Program and as a crisis consultant for at-risk teens, Nuris developed not just financial insight, but a profound empathy for people facing difficult circumstances. She understood that sometimes, what people need most is someone who genuinely cares and is willing to show up—not just to help with a task, but to provide companionship and emotional support.
Her Vision:
"I've always believed that everyone deserves to live with dignity and independence, regardless of their circumstances," Nuris shares. "AssisMonter is about creating a community where people can get the help they need without sacrificing their autonomy. It's about connecting compassionate helpers with those who need support, and building relationships that go beyond transactions."
Nuris envisions AssisMonter as more than a service platform—she sees it as a bridge that connects communities, cultures, and generations. Her multicultural background and bilingual abilities reflect her commitment to making assistance accessible to diverse communities who often face language and cultural barriers when seeking help.
Beyond Business:
When she's not working on AssisMonter, Nuris is a devoted mother to her two sons, teaching them the values of hard work, compassion, and cultural pride. She loves traveling and experiencing different cultures—each journey deepening her appreciation for the diverse tapestry of human experiences. Exercise and wellness are also important to her, as she believes in leading by example and showing her sons the importance of taking care of both body and mind.

At 24, Idriss made a bold decision that would shape the rest of his career: he dropped out of computer science to pursue a passion for real estate. While some might have seen this as abandoning technology, Idriss saw it as an opportunity to combine his technical mindset with human connection. This unique blend of analytical thinking and people-focused service would later become the foundation for AssisMonter's innovative platform.
Idriss is a Property Management Specialist, where he handles the intricate day-to-day operations, rent collection, and account management for multiple properties. He also works as a full-time real estate agent, bringing his bilingual abilities (English and French) and technical expertise to serve diverse communities across New Jersey. He is a licensed real estate professional in New Jersey (License #1756197). With years of experience spanning property management, commercial real estate, foreclosures, and rentals, Idriss has developed a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to help people navigate life's housing challenges.
Why AssisMonter:
Through his work in real estate and property management, Idriss encountered countless clients who faced a common struggle: they needed help beyond just finding a home. Elderly clients needed assistance getting to property viewings. Tenants recovering from injuries struggled to handle move-in tasks. Busy professionals couldn't find time to manage essential errands while juggling property decisions. Time and again, Idriss found himself wishing there was a reliable service that could provide the kind of personal assistance his clients desperately needed.
His background in computer science, though unfinished in the traditional sense, proved invaluable. Idriss understood that technology could be the bridge—a way to connect those who need help with compassionate individuals ready to provide it. He envisioned a platform that was intuitive, reliable, and built with both users and assistants in mind. A system where technology serves humanity, not the other way around.
His Vision:
"I've always believed in taking the path that makes the most impact, even if it's not the traditional one," Idriss reflects. "Dropping out of computer science for real estate taught me that success isn't about following a predetermined path—it's about finding where your skills and passion can serve others best. AssisMonter is where my technical background and my real estate experience come together to solve a real problem."
As Chief Technology Officer, Idriss brings a unique perspective: he understands both the human side of service (from real estate) and the technical infrastructure needed to scale it efficiently. He's committed to building a platform that's not just functional, but genuinely helpful—one that anticipates user needs, removes friction, and creates seamless connections between people.
